Roger Corman - Colorized Tribute
With the recent passing of Roger Corman, we wanted to pay tribute with a colorized compilation of his early sci fi and horror comedy films of the 50s. Corman shot his early films in black and white because it was cheaper, otherwise they may have come out looking like this.
Featuring
Day the World Ended
It Conquered the World
Not of This Earth
The Wasp Woman
Attack of the Crab Monsters
Little Shop of Horrors
Creature from the Haunted Sea.
All made by American International Pictures
RIP Roger Corman

Another colorized tribute to one of my favourite comedies growing up. This was my introduction to the series and in my opinion the best "Road to" film in the franchise, which teams up Bing Crosby and Bob Hope in their third adventure.

This is NOT a Bond movie. It's called Woman of Straw with Gina Lollobrigida and Ralph Richardson.
She called him squirrel.. Where is Moose?
Looks like the set to the beginning of "Thunderball."
Terrific! A shaggy Bond story! I especially like "The "Frightened City" bits because I always thought Herbert Lom would have made an excellent Bond villain. Also for the other thing: James Bond belongs in the world of the Profumo Affair, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the early days of TV. No JB movie should ever be more recent than Harold MacMillan's resignation in October 1963.
Great job and full of atmosphere! No real plot, but still head and shoulders above No Time To Die!
The real name of this movie was The Woman of Straw released in 1964. The film was shot at Pinewood Studios, Audley End House in Saffron Walden, Essex and in Majorca in the Balearic Islands between August and October 1963. This film HAD NOTHING TO DO with the James Bond franchise. It was just another Sean Connery's movie. 🔫🔫
This is not a bond film ,they edited it with the music
I liked him as a ute, but not as a gaffer.
I feel like they should remake ohmss with a better actor
Dedicated to the idiot and unhappy Bond killer, Daniel Craig
scam?
I remember seeing this Bond film back in the 60's but don't remember it being so short!
なんかCGよりもすごいの作っていたんだね。
When I first saw it I thought it was fake like a couple of different movie scenes put together you know what I'm talking about like a spoof but then I looked it up and it's real I can tell you whoever made this they did a good job on it so I was going to broccoli righ
Clever.
The past sucks. 😐
The question is how many films was used to put this silly thing together!
Is this a movie or just pieces put together off of the cut floor?
Amazing sense of humour! :-D
Excellent animation! Beautiful homage to the Hitchcock classic!! The UA-cam algorithm got this one right :-)
I enjoyed this very much, never ever seen any of these scenes before. Wo derful editing and i had no idea someof thus was colorized. Very entertaining and enjoyable, i wish ihad talent that could create something likd this. We all love Sean Connery as 007.
Murder mystery suspense. Planner escapes.supporter (gina)he killed in lock up. Woman of stra. Seen film. Red novel. Vv. Thanks
Hollywood film. Woman of stra.sean Connery. Gina Lolo Brigida. Novel English. Same name. First shot. Is last one. Vv. Thanks. 29624. India. Maharashtra.
This film was called woman of straw had nothing to do with bond
SHAME as this was rather interesting and the very first BOND girl is a stunner
Thanks a million for this! The way of dressing, even the cars, were crisper, classier than the unimaginative, mundane trash we have today
Amen brother!
日本ではまだ昭和2年 こんな映像ができたのはすごい
As others have noted, this footage is mostly taken from a 1964 film called Woman of Straw and has nothing to do with James Bond. Too bad, because I would have liked to have seen Gina as a Bond girl and Ralph Richardson as a Bond villain. According to a book written about this film’s director, Sean and Gina did not get along well.
21:10 Did Connery punch Lom in the balls?!
Sean Connery was a real man and the perfect Bond.
Absolute PISH
bullshit this is WOMAN OF STRAW with Gina Lollobridiga Nothing to do with James Bond BULL total
This is mostly from "WOMAN OF STRAW" -not a James Bond movie!
That little guy looks like master blaster from the movie Mad max beyond Thunderdome
Well I'm confused at 4.25 it says Ian Fleming's "Portrait of a Lady" NOT Property of a Lady! and the Theme by Tom Jones🤪
Such a pity they were sworn enemies and they didn't do another movie together. I would love to see them in a comedy or something even bigger! Seing this film in 2024 still is a pretty good picture (as Crawdord said). Those talents does not exist these days!
"No time for Love Doctor Jones!"
This is fake guys . . . .
Thank you for this most interesting of rare saved historical material. I have an autographed photo of him from a Bridge Too Far. It begins - To Florence. Written in cursive he made the T and F with beginning loops on each letter in such a way it's making an "O" & "O" = Double O for James Bond. He was the first and best of the Bonds.
Fantastic! Very well made, indeed!
This is not a Bond film.
It looks like the movie " Woman of straw" Isn't ??
You could cut this into a really nice two minute movie trailer! Lots of good shots to choose from. 🎥🍿
Is it a property or portrait of a lady, make up your mind please 🥺?
c'mon, it's a joke)) a lot of sequences from Woman of Straw (1964) mixed up with bond theme. who r u cheatting))))
😊
Once again the adolescent chronic masturbators of the Internet unleash another 🐎 💩 attempt at trying to be clever. They failed.
Absolutely astonishing! Just mind blowing, to know there was this, before Dr. No
It’s made up
What a cast, Connery, Ralph Richardson, and Gina Lollabrigida. Such great fun!
And did I spot Herbert Lom?
@@nsnopper Trajedy is missing many good actors.
Seeing Clouseau's boss ( Herbert Lom) in this makes it seem like a crossover. Who's next? Edward Platt as Leiter's boss?
